CROATIA, (Patria) - Dubrovnik composer, conductor and guitarist Đelo Jusić died at the age of 81, family members confirmed to the media.
His brother Ibrica Jusić (74), a well-known singer-songwriter, is devastated.
"I have lost the best brother in the world, who was and remains my greatest role model," he said.
Đelo Jusić is the composer of Srebrenica Inferno, which was first performed in 2003 at the opening of the Potočari Memorial Center.
Đelo Jusić is best known for numerous great works of popular, as well as serious, mostly orchestral music. His songs were sung by Oliver Dragojević, Tereza Kesovija, and Ibrica Jusić.
