How much the Football Association of BiH would earn if the Dragons go to the EURO

(Patria) - Qualifying for EURO 2024 would not only delight the army of fans of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team due to their first ever appearance at the European Championship, but would also significantly fill the coffers of the Bosnian football house.

The Dragons will have the opportunity in March to qualify for the EURO through the play-offs. It would be their first appearance on the big European stage, which would be a great sporting success.

The success, however, would also be financial, as millions of euros would arrive in the coffers of the N/FS BiH. Namely, just for qualifying for the EURO in Germany, the Association would bring back 9.25 million euros to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is the amount of the qualification prize, but that is not all.

Every useful result would also bring an additional monetary reward. Namely, a draw in the group stage is worth 750 thousand euros, while a win earns twice as much, 1.5 million. Qualification for the next round of the competition, the round of 16, brings an additional 2 million euros, the quarter-finals bring 3.25 million, and the semi-finals 5 million euros.

Logically, the richest prizes follow for the winners of the European Championship.

The best national team of the "Old Continent" will earn 10 million euros, while the runner-up will receive 7 million.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team will play the play-off matches at the end of March 2024. Just qualifying for Germany would be a historic success, and the financial injection at a time of building hybrid pitches and other projects would be everything that the Executive Board of N/FS BiH wishes for.
