SDA Collegium met in Stolac: Stop discrimination and denial of constitutional and legal rights of Bosniaks

(Patria) - The Collegium of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) held a session today in Stolac, dedicated to the position of Bosniaks in that Herzegovinian town.

▸ The SDA Collegium condemns the policy of majorization pursued by the City Administration of Stolac, led by Stjepan Bošković, against Bosniaks;

▸ We demand that the City Administration cease discrimination and the denial of constitutional and legal rights of Bosniaks. We demand that the number of employees in the City Administration and public institutions be aligned with the census as soon as possible;

▸ We give full support to the Majlis of the Islamic Community of Stolac regarding the resolution of the rights of Bosniaks to a dignified burial within the legal struggle that has been ongoing for over 11 years;

▸ We demand that the City Administration establish local communities through which citizens would more easily and effectively exercise their rights. It is unacceptable that such a local government organization has not existed in Stolac for 30 years;

▸ We demand that the BiH Prosecutor's Office initiate the procedure for annulling the decisions of the City Administration which re-register state property from the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the City of Stolac, which is then sold to dubious investors;

▸ We call on the Government of the Federation of BiH, when allocating grant funds intended for the City of Stolac, to consider the elimination of existing discrimination in their final consumption, given that these funds have so far been directed almost exclusively to projects of interest to the Croat people, while the needs and interests of Bosniaks have been completely neglected.
