Kojović: It is obvious that the ruling SDA-DF coalition has not agreed on anything

The constitutive session of the new convocation of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, which opened in November, continued today and was shortly thereafter adjourned, reports the Patria news agency.

At this moment, it is unclear when the next continuation of the constitutive session will be, but before the adjournment, it was agreed that an emergency session would be held on Friday to adopt a decision on the temporary financing of the Sarajevo Canton.

Predrag Kojović, a representative of Our Party in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, said that almost nothing happened today, although the law, and even more so the economic needs of the canton at this moment, require things to start happening quickly and efficiently.

- However, it is obvious that the ruling SDA-DF coalition has not agreed on who the delegates for the House of Peoples are, who makes up the leadership of the Assembly, and there is not even a whisper about the mandate-holder. On the other hand, pressure has been put on deputies to urgently reconvene on Friday and stamp some very serious and far-reaching budget decisions that the Government made during a period when it worked without the oversight of the Assembly, and even the public – says Kojović, specifying that the specific reason for the adjournment of the session should be asked of the SDA and DF.

He added that it is absurd to sign an agreement on participation in government before the partners, in this case the SDA and DF, agree on what they will do with that power and which people will constitute it.

This somewhat resembles the practice of ceremonially opening unfinished construction projects – added Kojović.
