(Patria) - Austria became the eighth national team to play in next year's European Football Championship last night.
The Austrians defeated Azerbaijan (1-0) with a goal from Marcel Sabitzer from a penalty, thus qualifying from their group along with Belgium.
Besides Austria and Belgium, France, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, and Scotland, as well as hosts Germany, have already secured their spots at the Euros.
Denmark from Group H and Hungary from Group G could join them tonight.
Hungary would win Group G with a victory against Lithuania away, while Denmark needs a win against San Marino, a draw between Kazakhstan and Finland, and for Slovenia not to lose in Northern Ireland.
Football fans can enjoy the regional derby between Serbia and Montenegro tonight, which starts at 8:45 PM, with both national teams chasing a victory to secure direct qualification for the continental showpiece, reports SCsport.ba.
