Marijuana found in Sarajevo resident's car

Yesterday at 11:45 AM, in Odobašina Street, Centar Sarajevo municipality, police officers of the First Police Administration stopped and inspected a "Fiat Punto" passenger vehicle with license plates K18-J-831, driven by driver R.A., born in 1980 in Sarajevo, where he resides.

- During the inspection, one "joint" containing a grassy substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana was found and confiscated from him. Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense under Article 239 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Possession and enabling the use of narcotic drugs), R.A. was deprived of his liberty and handed over to the Department for Detention of Detained Persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

The Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed about the above, and legal measures will be taken against the said person.
