The coalition of civil society organizations "First March" welcomes the initiative of Edin Ramić, the Federal Minister for Displaced Persons and Refugees, who requested an amendment to the Decision on exercising rights from hospital healthcare in the FBiH for persons who have the status of returnees to the RS entity, reports the Patria News Agency.
-The "First March" Coalition managed to gather representatives of healthcare institutions, injured returnees, and representatives of associations in one place in Tuzla. I am glad that the minister was there and that we showed through a joint initiative that things can change," said Almir Salihović, coordinator of "First March".
The amendment to the Decision will ensure hospital protection and increase allocations by 500,000 KM, compared to the planned 2 million. The "First March" Coalition will continue to advocate for the improvement of the status of returnees' rights and will hold new public discussions in the coming period on problems in accessing healthcare in other parts of BiH, it was announced from the "First March" Coalition.
