Who are the members of the new Federal Civil Protection Staff

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The FBiH Government amended the Decree on the Federal Civil Protection Staff today. According to the amendments, the Federal Staff consists of a commander, a chief, and seven members. Sessions of the Federal Staff, at the request of the chief of the Federal Staff, as specified, shall be convened and presided over by the commander of the Federal Staff.

By the Decision adopted today, the Federal Government appointed the Deputy Prime Minister of FBiH and Federal Minister of Finance Jelka Milićević as the commander of the Federal Civil Protection Staff, Fahrudin Solak, Director of the Federal Civil Protection Administration, as the chief, and the following as members of the Federal Civil Protection Staff: Anis Ajdinović, Director of the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs, Ensad Korman, Deputy Director of the Federal Police Administration, Davor Pehar, Director of the Institute for Public Health, Tončo Bavrka, Director of the Federal Directorate of Commodity Reserves, Namik Hodžić, Secretary of the Red Cross of FBiH, and Sanita Alagić and Mustafa Kadribegović, Assistant Directors of the Federal Civil Protection Administration.

By today's Decision, the FBiH Government approved the allocation and use of funds from dedicated revenues exceeding the amounts planned in the FBiH Budget for 2020 from a special transaction account intended for protection and rescue from natural and other disasters, opened as a sub-account within the Treasury Single Account for the Federal Civil Protection Administration. These are funds amounting to KM 7,128,012, accumulated from previous years. Of this amount, KM 6,128,012 is planned for the procurement of materials and small inventory, and KM 1,000,000 for the procurement of equipment.

The funds will be spent in accordance with the Decision on the conditions and manner of using funds generated from the special fee for protection from natural and other disasters.

Separate accounting will be kept of the execution, and the Federal Civil Protection Administration will prepare and submit periodic and annual reports on the dedicated use of funds to the Budget Sector of the Federal Ministry of Finance.
