Srđan Amidžić was against the adoption of the decision on coefficients for the distribution of VAT revenue and against the return of the Republika Srpska debt to the Federation of BiH in the amount of 120 million KM.
Only after the representatives of Republika Srpska refused to support this key point, did Zijad Krnjić vote against the Rulebook on the systematization of jobs in the ITA – a document necessary for the opening of the Gradiška Border Crossing.
And that's where the political theater begins. Amidžić issued a public statement in which – just like SDP leader Nermin Nikšić – he attacks Krnjić, omitting his own role and motives.
„The Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) of BiH did not adopt the amendments to the Rulebook on the internal organization of the ITA at today's 2nd extraordinary session, which enables the start of operations at the newly built Gradiška Border Crossing. Zijad Krnjić, a member of the Management Board from the ranks of experts appointed by the Government of FBiH, voted against this rulebook for the fourth time“, Amidžić announced.
However, what Amidžić and Nikšić tirelessly conceal is the fact that the decision on the distribution of road toll revenue was also on the agenda – but there was no support from FBiH, because the members of the Management Board from Republika Srpska did not want to support the settlement of debts between the entities for the last three years.
In other words, RS refuses to return the money, Amidžić refuses to support the coefficients and settlements – and then the culprit is sought in Krnjić.
Amidžić, of course, did not explain why he was against it. And he doesn't have to – everything is clear to everyone, except, it seems, Nikšić and part of the media in the Federation who wonder why Krnjić did not support the Rulebook.
„Although the points requested by Krnjić were included on the agenda of the session, it is unclear why this point was rejected, and more information about it will be known later“, stated Klix, not wanting to admit that this is a classic trap.
Krnjić did not fall for it.
Just because a point that has been discussed for years – and which would finally end the unfair distribution of money – was put on the agenda, does not mean that one should fall for a trick and support the Rulebook that RS wanted to „push through“ without returning debts and without correcting coefficients.
Krnjić was actually asked to agree to the continuation of financial injustice until RS fulfills its obligations.
Expecting Krnjić to enable new infrastructure for RS by voting for the Rulebook – at a time when RS refuses to return 120 million KM to the Federation – is not only absurd but also politically naive.
Otherwise, the Management Board did not adopt the decision on determining temporary coefficients for the distribution of funds from the single account for the period October – December 2025 either.
And those responsible for this are those who voted against the settlement between the entities, not those who refuse to be deceived.
