Klas sponsors golden handball players of Bosnia and Herzegovina during qualifications for the 2017 World Championship in France

Bosnian food industry Klas d.d. Sarajevo will be the sponsor of the Handball National Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina this season as well. This was made official with a sponsorship agreement signed in the Mejdan Hall in Tuzla, before the match Bosnia and Herzegovina – Kosovo, by Adnan Hodžić, executive director of Klas, and Smajo Karačić, general secretary of the Handball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the Patria agency.

- The sponsorship pertains to the qualifications for the World Championship in France 2017. We have renewed the sponsorship of our handball "Dragons" because we want to help the best Bosnian handball players go to the World Championship in France.

With their performances so far in these qualifications, our national team players have shown dedication, which is why we are confident that Bosnia and Herzegovina will once again make it to the World Handball Championship.

We are proud of this sponsorship, because handball is among the most successful and most trophy-winning sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina with outstanding results. The handball national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina deserves our support - said Hodžić, and wished good luck to the Bosnian handball players in the upcoming matches against the national teams of Kosovo, Slovakia and Lithuania.

Klas d.d. Sarajevo was also with the Handball National Team at the World Championship held in early 2015 in Qatar. That was also the first qualification of the Bosnian handball national team for a world championship.

- It is an honor that such a large private domestic company is our official sponsor. Thank you to Klas and the AS Group for supporting the development of Bosnian handball and the handball national team's participation in European and world competitions. We hope to justify the trust of our sponsors and take Bosnia and Herzegovina once again to the World Handball Championship - said Smajo Karačić, general secretary of the Handball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressing optimism about the World Handball Championship in France.

The sponsorship of the Handball National Team is the third sponsorship at the national team level by one of the companies within the AS GROUP. Vispak is the sponsor of the Football National Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Oaza is the sponsor of the Basketball National Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports Patria.
