Klas officially becomes sponsor of the handball Dragons

Bosnia and Herzegovina's food industry company Klas d.d. Sarajevo is officially the sponsor of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Handball National Team starting today. On this occasion, the sponsorship agreement was signed in Mostar by Rusmir Hrvić, Director of Klas, and Smajo Karačić, Secretary General of the Handball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The sponsorship covers the qualifications for the European Handball Championship to be held in 2016 in Poland, as well as the World Championship to be held in January next year in Qatar.

Addressing journalists at today's press conference, Hrvić congratulated the BH players and management of the handball "Dragons", and said that by qualifying for the World Championship in Qatar, they have already achieved a feat by placing among the 24 best national teams in the world.

- You are the pride of the entire nation. I am convinced that you will play for the national jersey with dedication in Qatar, and that you will bring honor to all of us. We are very proud of this sponsorship, especially since handball is one of the most successful and decorated sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina with outstanding results, both at club and national team level. This is the first time that the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina has qualified for a world championship, and Klas wants to be a part of this already successful story for Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole - said Hrvić.

This is the third sponsorship at the national team level for one of the companies within the AS GROUP.

After Vispak as the sponsor of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football National Team, and Oaza as the sponsor of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Basketball National Team, Klas is now the sponsor of our country's Handball National Team.

This year is significant for both Klas and the BiH handball national team. One of the most famous food companies in BiH has experienced a boom after joining the AS group from Jelaha in mid-year, although the company's operations were quite difficult until then.

The BH handball players will prepare for Qatar in the halls at Bijeli Brijeg, in Sjeverni logor, and in the hall of the Zalik Elementary School in Mostar. The best BH handball players will stay in the Herzegovinian city until December 30, after which the second stage of preparations will continue in Sarajevo.

The 24th World Handball Championship will be held in Qatar from January 15 to February 1, 2015, writes Patria.
