KJKP Toplane – Sarajevo ready for heat energy delivery

(Patria) - We inform users of central heating that all facilities for the production and distribution of heat energy are operationally ready, meaning KJKP "Toplane – Sarajevo" d.o.o. are ready to start the upcoming heating season for 2023/2024.

In the previous period, activities were undertaken for regular and investment maintenance, as well as reconstruction of heating systems, with the aim of being ready for the heating season and providing quality service to our users.

In accordance with the dynamic plan, work was carried out on boiler plants, heating substations, the distribution network with associated measuring points, as well as heat consumption meters. This work includes the preparation of installations in heating systems, maintenance and replacement of worn-out parts, on which technical defects were observed during the previous heating season, with the aim of correct functioning, increased efficiency, and improvement in the operation of the machine and electrical equipment of the heating systems.

In the period from September 11 to 15, a functional test of the central heating system was carried out as the final technical check of the entire system before the upcoming heating season.

In accordance with the Decree on general conditions for the production, supply, and use of heat energy, the facilities and installations of "KJKP Toplane-Sarajevo" d.o.o. must be technically ready by September 20 of the current year. If it is determined that after September 20, the average daily outdoor air temperature is 12 degrees Celsius or lower, KJKP "Toplane - Sarajevo" will start delivering heat energy to the citizens of Sarajevo Canton before October 15, i.e., before the deadline defined by the aforementioned Decree.

We remind you that, according to the Law on the management of common parts of buildings, it is the obligation of the Building Manager (Administrator) to maintain the common parts of the central heating installations, and that in case of need for urgent intervention, you should contact them.
