(Patria) - Snowfall in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina has also halted waste collection.
Since waste has not been collected since Sunday, large amounts of garbage have accumulated around containers. Given that it is also the holiday season, the amount of waste has increased.
Teams from KJKP Rad have been deployed for snow clearing, and due to uncleared roads in the hilly parts of the city, as well as at the Smiljevići location where the landfill is situated, waste collection has been suspended.
Thus, citizens have recorded garbage even in the main Sarajevo promenade Ferhadija, as well as in all parts of Sarajevo.
KJKP Rad has not issued any statements regarding waste collection.
The Dobrinja neighborhood was completely under snow yesterday, and only in the afternoon did the clearing of pedestrian paths and side streets begin. The Novi Grad municipality had to hire private companies because all the machines from KJKP Rad designated for this municipality broke down within 24 hours.
Containers in Branislava Nušića Street were under snow yesterday, which Patria also recorded.
