China places eight million yuan in grant aid at the disposal of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina signed and exchanged, on 17 September 2015 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a Note Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the People's Republic of China, under which the Government of the People's Republic of China places eight million yuan in grant aid at the disposal of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The aforementioned funds will be used for the implementation of projects to be agreed upon by Bosnia and Herzegovina and China, through the subsequent signing of an agreement between the two sides.

On the occasion of the signing of the Note Agreement, Minister Crnadak, on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressed gratitude to the Government of the People's Republic of China for the assistance in the stated amount, as well as for all the support that China provides to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Furthermore, Minister Crnadak thanked Ambassador Chunfeng personally for his contribution to the further building of exceptionally good and friendly relations between the two countries during his term in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as for his contribution to the conclusion of the Note Agreement.

Ambassador Chunfeng emphasised that the assistance defined by the signed agreement is a sign of friendship from the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Chinese people towards the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Minister Crnadak expressed his conviction that the funds provided by the Government of the People's Republic of China will be implemented in an appropriate manner, through concrete projects that will benefit as many citizens from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina as possible.
