The manager of Sarajevo's Marriott hotel, Kayhan Kilit, said during a gathering with journalists on Tuesday that Marriott will certainly attract new tourists and businessmen to Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
Hotel Residence Inn by Marriott, which opened in November this year in Sarajevo's Čobanija, is a member of Marriott International, the world's leading hotel company with more than 4,000 hotels in over 70 countries worldwide. Sarajevo's Marriott is among the most luxurious hotels in Bosnia and Herzegovina, boasting over 70 luxuriously furnished apartments, with all accompanying facilities and services.
Sarajevo's Residence Inn by Marriott, Kilit said, is intended for guests staying at the hotel for five days, five weeks, or more.
I am pleased, Kilit further stated, that BiH experts participated significantly in the construction of this hotel, meaning domestic materials were used, and this trend has continued after the hotel's opening, where food is prepared mainly from local ingredients.
- Our goal is not just for us to profit, we want Sarajevo to profit from our hotel.
Kilit announced the opening of another Marriott hotel in the capital of BiH by May next year, which will be much larger than the hotel in Čobanija. It will have 132 luxury rooms and two presidential suites, writes Patria.
