KICK OFF CUP Youngsters Showed Their Football Skills

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Last weekend, the 1st Kick Off Cup winter futsal tournament was held at the Kick Off sports fields in Sarajevo. The successful organization of the tournament was realized by the Kick Off football school from Sarajevo. SF Kick Off, which is generally focused on working with the youngest children aged 5 to 12, recognized the importance of sports and physical activities for children's development and the preservation of their physical and mental health during the pandemic, and decided to organize a tournament for youngsters while respecting the current epidemiological measures.

The youngest girls and boys aged 6 to 8 competed in the tournament, and along with a lot of good football, there was plenty of socializing and fun. SF Kick Off provided trophies and medals for the top three teams in each age group, as well as medals for every child who participated in the tournament.

The children were especially entertained by partners from the company Union Foods with mascots Monte and Flipko who distributed appropriate gifts, as well as Gradačac Dairy with the distribution of chocolate milk for the youngest.
31 teams responded to the tournament, 7 competitive teams born in 2015, and twelve teams each born in 2014 and 2013 from BiH.

In the youngest category for the 2015 birth year, the home team Kick Off took first place after defeating Unis from Vogošća in the final, while in the same category, the third place went to the Derby team after defeating the Sparta team from Sarajevo.

First place for the 2014 birth year went to the Derby team from Sarajevo, which was more successful than the Dobrinja team in the final match. The Tempo team from Ilijaš took third place, after triumphing over Tika Taka from Mostar.

In the 2013 birth year category, the best were the footballers from Unis from Vogošća, who defeated Novi Grad from Sarajevo in the final, while third place went to Sparta from Sarajevo, which was more successful than FK Sarajevo.
