(Patria) - Young Bosnian-Herzegovinian footballer Kerim Alajbegović (18) has signed a contract with Bayer Leverkusen, the German Bundesliga club confirmed.
Eighteen-year-old Alajbegović, the hero of the BiH national team in the victory over Wales in the World Cup qualifying playoffs semi-final, was a member of Leverkusen's youth team from 2021 to 2025, and spent last season with Red Bull Salzburg.
He signed a five-year contract.
