SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Former captain of Istra 1961, Kenan Hadžić, has signed a contract until the summer of 2019 with an option to extend for another year.
Kenan Hadžić was born on May 7, 1994, in Pula. He went through several youth selections of the Croatian first division club, Istra, and before playing for the green-yellows, he played on loan in Rovinj.
At only 23 years old, he was the captain and a regular first-team player for Istra, for whom he has played 44 matches so far. In this season of the HNL, Hadžić played in 15 matches and scored one goal.
- I am glad that I came to Željezničar. I would like to thank Istra, where I spent many years and which will always be in my heart. The negotiations went smoothly, and I can't wait for the first training session to start proving myself - said Kenan Hadžić.
The twenty-three-year-old right-back, who can also play as a central defender, signed for a year and a half with the club having the option to extend for another year.
The player's documentation will arrive from the HNS within the next 24 hours.
