Kemal Karić lost his leg in May 1992, now fighting for his life

Kemal Karić, who lost his leg and mother in May 1992 as a baby due to a grenade explosion, is now going through a new life drama, writes the BH news agency Patria.

Some time ago, he discovered he has cancer, and he has already undergone two surgeries. Further treatment requires several cycles of chemotherapy and additional medications and injections that he must take. Although he does not know how much his treatment will cost, given that he is unemployed, this brave young man needs all possible help.

His friends have organised as best they can, playing charity futsal tournaments on the field behind the Mechanical High School with a symbolic team entry fee of 20 KM.

Although seriously ill, Karić, after all the life tragedies he has endured, believes they are all trials from God.

- I will fight with all my might, and we will see what happens. I have undergone 19 surgeries in my life, 17 just because of my leg, but I am not giving up – says Kemal.

Otherwise, before he discovered what he was suffering from, this 23-year-old lost between 15 and 20 kilograms. He says there are no words to thank his friends for what they are doing for him.
