Kavazović sends congratulations on Easter

(Patria) - The Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein-ef. Kavazović, today sent a congratulatory message to the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, Monsignor Tomo Vukšić, on the occasion of the Catholic holiday of Easter.

– Your Eminence, On the occasion of the great Christian holiday of Easter, I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to you personally, your clergy, and the faithful.

Easter in the Christian faith carries deep meaning, symbolizing the victory of life over death, that is, eternal life, and it does not come by chance just in spring when life awakens and shows itself in all its splendor.

It is an opportunity for believers to examine themselves, spend time in prayer, and reflect on their way of life and relationship with other God's creatures. Therefore, I express the hope that this great Christian holiday will once again bring much-needed positive energy into interpersonal relations in our country.

Indeed, only carried by positive energy can life in it flourish and bear good fruit, and people live in peace and happiness with one another.

I wish you to spend the upcoming festive days joyfully, in good health, and surrounded by dear people – the Grand Mufti's congratulatory message reads.

Kavazović also sent a congratulatory message today to the Metropolitan of Dabar-Bosnia, Chrysostom, on the occasion of the upcoming holiday of Easter (Orthodox).

Since this is a high value of timeless significance, we hope with anticipation that the message of Easter will come to life everywhere in the world, including here among us, that it will take deep root and remain there forever.
