
(Patria) - Minister of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton Admir Katica met today with member of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić. During the meeting, the minister informed the member of the Presidency of BiH about the current security situation, especially from the aspect of the migrant crisis which has largely affected the Sarajevo Canton and the Una-Sana Canton.
Katica requested support from Komšić for the inclusion of representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton in the Operational Staff for Migration Issues in BiH, which was formed at the state level, and emphasized the need to adopt a document or strategy for managing the migration process in BiH, which is becoming increasingly complex.
Komšić gave full support to all activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton that contribute to improving the citizens' sense of security and security in general in the Canton.
At the end of the meeting, the minister also informed the member of the Presidency of BiH about certain aspects of the Ministry's work and the dynamics of filling the active police force of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
