Karić with Lank: Communication with Police Officers Significantly Contributes to More Efficient Cooperation

(Patria) - Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH was visited today by Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Lank, Czech Republic's Police Liaison Officer for Bosnia and Herzegovina, who on this occasion spoke with the Director of the Directorate Enes Karić and his deputies Đuro Knežević and Goran Amidžić.

Director Karić informed Lieutenant Colonel Lank at the beginning of the meeting about the legal
competencies of the Directorate, and highlighted the achieved results, with a special emphasis on
international police cooperation. Statistical indicators of the exchange of
operational and other data through INTERPOL, EUROPOL, and SELEC channels were also presented,
and it was stated that communication with police officers significantly contributes to more efficient cooperation at both bilateral and regional levels.

Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Lank pointed out that he is the new Police Liaison Officer of the Czech
Republic stationed in Belgrade with accreditation for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North
Macedonia, and Serbia.

The meeting continued with a discussion on modalities of future cooperation, which would include holding working meetings by areas of work, organizing study visits, training, and seminars through which the work of police officers would be improved through the exchange of experiences and best practices.
