Karan proposed Minić as the mandate holder for the formation of the RS Government

(Patria) - The President of Republika Srpska, Siniša Karan, said today that the conditions have been created to propose Savo Minić as a candidate for the formation of the RS Government after his resignation was accepted yesterday at the session of the National Assembly of RS.

"This is a technical issue, but from a political aspect, this is a strong message about the institutional strength and stability of Republika Srpska," Karan said at a press conference.

"This act is a consequence of the greatest constitutional and legal crisis created in BiH by Christian Schmidt, who behaves like a protector, as if he governs BiH, as if he has supreme authority over all institutions of power. He entered the legislative sphere and annulled the will of the citizens who elected Dodik as president," he said.

Karan emphasized that he will propose Minić to the National Assembly so that he can continue where he left off.

"Minić has brought new energy in these challenging times. The government has shown results that are visible to our citizens. We have entered the core of every problem, and today we have institutions and a government that have shown strength and firmness," said Karan.

He said that Minić should receive the support of MPs in the NSRS today and that the Government should be working at full capacity in two to three days.
