SARAJevo, (Patria) - The request to convene a session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH has not arrived, and as soon as the new parliamentary majority submits a request, the session will be scheduled without delay.
This was confirmed for the Patria agency by the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, Elvir Karajbić.
“It is the democratic right of the parliamentary majority to make decisions, and there will be no obstruction. Of course, all of this is conditioned by the existence of a parliamentary majority. This is the only house of representatives that is functioning, and we have held eight sessions so far. As soon as the request to convene a session arrives from the parliamentary majority, no one will stand in their way,” Karajbić said.
Karajbić was elected as the Speaker of the House of Representatives on November 27, 2018, with the votes of 52 representatives. Given that there has recently been a change in the parliamentary majority, it is expected that the SDA, with coalition partners SBB and DF, and representatives of HDZ BiH, will initiate the process of replacing the current and electing a new leadership of the House of Representatives of the FBiH.
