Cantonal Civil Protection Headquarters adopts Development Program for Protection and Rescue from Natural and Other Disasters of ZDC

(Patria) - The Cantonal Civil Protection Headquarters (KŠCZ) of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDC), at a session chaired by the commander, Minister for Spatial Planning, Transport and Communications Adnan Šabani, adopted the Development Program for Protection and Rescue from Natural and Other Disasters of ZDC for the period 2025-2031.

Chief of KŠCZ and Director of the Cantonal Civil Protection Administration Džavid Aličić said that this is the most important planning document of civil protection, which is adopted by the Assembly upon the proposal of the ZDC Government, and is prepared by the Cantonal Civil Protection Administration with the consent of KŠCZ.

- The Program contains goals, vision and mission for the development of the system for protection and rescue of people and property from natural and other disasters, with 11 defined strategic directions, assessments of vulnerability to floods and earthquakes, program tasks, and projections of financing from the budget and special fees - said Aličić.

He informed the members of KŠCZ that the helicopter, whose procurement was carried out by the Cantonal Civil Protection Administration, will be delivered by the end of September, when it will be publicly promoted.

The helicopter will serve the needs of civil protection and police in ZDC.
