Cantonal Inspectorate Significantly Contributed to Suppressing Illegal Taxi Transport in the City of Zenica

(Patria) - Director of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Besim Spahić, spoke with representatives of the "Zenica-Taxi" Zenica Association about the state of taxi transport in the area of the City of Zenica.

The president of this association, Sabahudin Bajramović, emphasized that the situation on the ground has significantly improved, which shows that illegal taxi transport in the City of Zenica is slowly being suppressed. He stressed that the intensified supervision by the cantonal inspectorate has made a great
contribution to suppressing illegal taxi transport, and this was also the reason for the visit, in order to express gratitude and provide support in the further work of the administration's employees for their understanding of the issues faced by taxi drivers in the City of Zenica.

The Director of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs thanked the president of the "Zenica-Taxi" Zenica Association and his associates, emphasizing that the mission of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs includes, among other things, suppressing illegal taxi transport, and that inspectors make maximum effort daily to detect and suppress illegal taxi transport. He pointed out that the issue in question is also current in other cities/municipalities in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, but it is most pronounced in the City of Zenica.

Spahić particularly emphasized that maximum efforts will continue to be made to fully resolve this issue and invited not only the taxi drivers of the City of Zenica, but also other citizens, to report all irregularities, including illegal taxi drivers, to the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs, because only by joining forces can such and similar problems in the Zenica-Doboj Canton be effectively resolved.

Representatives of the "Zenica-Taxi" Zenica Association presented Director Spahić with a letter of thanks for the good cooperation so far and the improvement of the work of this association.
