Cantonal Inspectorate Verifies Data Entered in EMIS Following Applicant Complaints

(Patria) - Following the signed agreement, training of inspectors for work in the EMIS application, and the announced competition, cantonal labor inspectors of the Cantonal Directorate for Inspection Affairs of Sarajevo Canton have begun activities to verify data entered in the EMIS application based on received complaints and in accordance with the valid Rulebook and their competencies.

A delegation from the Trade Union of Primary and Secondary Education was received today (Monday, December 8, 2025) at the premises of the Cantonal Directorate for Inspection Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, expressing concern about the procedure for conducting the competition.

During the meeting, the Director of the Cantonal Directorate for Inspection Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, Adis Mešić, informed the Union representatives about the competencies of the Cantonal Directorate for Inspection Affairs of Sarajevo Canton in this process, and it was emphasized that the Cantonal Directorate for Inspection Affairs of Sarajevo Canton does not have the authority to supervise the Ministry of Education or the application itself, nor does it have the authority to determine potential discrimination, which is determined through competent courts.

Union representatives were also informed that the activities of reviewing the data entered in the EMIS application are proceeding as expected and without difficulties.

The Cantonal Directorate for Inspection Affairs of Sarajevo Canton has been provided with 24-hour IT support from UTIC, which provides additional security for the successful completion of the process.

We remind that despite the insufficient staffing in the Cantonal Directorate for Inspection Affairs of Sarajevo Canton at 63%, with organized engagement of all available capacities, the completion of inspection activities within the foreseen deadline in this process is expected.
