FSBIH Camp "Open Doors" in Denver to be attended by 120 young footballers

The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina's "Open Doors" camp, under the auspices of the Soccer-Football Federation of the USA (USSSA), to be held in Denver from May 23 to 25, will be more than just a game, reports the Patria News Agency, writes BHDINFODESK - BIRMINGHAM.

Namely, although there are about 40 days left until the start of the camp, the lists have been finalized and a total of 120 young talented footballers of Bosnian roots will attend the camp.

In addition to the sports part, this camp will also have its social aspect because it is being held during holidays in the USA, and on those days Denver will certainly be a place where numerous members of the Bosnian diaspora will gather, which is confirmed by the words of Murat Alibašić, camp manager and coach of the Colorado Rapids youth team:

- Given that we knew the response would be large, we made an effort to provide optimal conditions for holding such a large event. For the needs of the camp, four grass fields have been secured in "Bromfield Commons Park", and for the final trial matches, which will be played on the third day, the functional Five Star Stadium, which seats 5,000 spectators, has been secured. In addition, for our participants in the camp, we have prepared everything, from equipment, reception, transportation, optimal conditions, quality coaches, Bosnian selectors, numerous managers and scouts, to adequate opponents for the trial match. In a sporting sense, the camp can start "immediately" - says Alibašić.

He added that it is expected that several thousand of our people will attend this event, and we have made an effort to organize additional activities for all of them. We have also prepared all-day gatherings in the park next to the camp, with Bosnian specialties, and an entertainment evening where local musicians will entertain them. In addition, for all our participants and guests, we have reserved the Omni hotel, which is located in a beautiful setting and has excellent conditions for staying and socializing.

- I am sure that these three days, in addition to their sporting character, will certainly have a social one as well, because it will be a unique opportunity for old sports friends to meet and new ones to get acquainted - added Alibašić.
