HOW SECURE IS ČOVIĆ IN THE TROIKA? Not even the announcement of a 'third entity' right before Vukoja's confirmation hinders the plans of HDZ and SNSD!?

"Croats do not have the luxury of pursuing any other policy, neither separatism nor talking about other divisions. Today, when I ask for legitimate representation, some say that's the third entity. Why should I defend myself from the third entity and what is the problem with the third entity. We will advocate for it, why not. But, in order to advocate for it, we must change the Constitution. When will we create an environment where others believe that it should be done that way – said Dragan Čović yesterday, stating that until then, "we have the division we have; the Federation with ten cantons, RS as it is organized, Brčko District, and the institutions we have".

As they say in the West, nothing new. 'European' Čović sticks to his guns, just like Milorad Dodik – they make Bosnia and Herzegovina an 'impossible country'.

And the sleepy Sarajevo politicians are taking a weekend break, so the screaming headlines 'We will fight for the third entity', 'We will advocate for the third', 'We will advocate for the third entity, why not'... remain insufficient even for a statement, let alone a rational move, which would, for starters, include not confirming the appointment of Marin Vukoja as a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH at tomorrow's session of the House of Representatives of the Federation.

I say confirmed, because we have established that when you have only one candidate, you don't choose, you confirm, which is contrary to the Constitution, because the Constitution states that representatives elect a constitutional judge.

And while Čović claims that we have the Constitution and that it is their only framework for behavior, the weak Troika is only strong in handing over positions to HDZ and SNSD, they don't even want to confront Dragan with this argument of electing or confirming. And they helped him, through machinations in the Election and Appointment Committee, to reach a point where representatives have only one name before them. They blamed the opposition for the blockades, which at this moment is only expecting a fully democratic election process.

And while Čović announces the third entity, and the Troika illegally fulfills his request for the appointment of Marin Vukoja, Milorad Dodik is rubbing his hands with satisfaction.

He will also be able to more easily appoint politically suitable individuals, sometimes active members of his party, to the Constitutional Court of BiH. It doesn't take much calculation to arrive at a result where individuals who espouse policies of dividing BiH will sit in the Constitutional Court of BiH.

And, pressured by the adopted Resolution on Srebrenica in the UN, retrograde forces in BiH are in a hurry. And haste is the devil's work, but the Troika parties have accepted such a game.

They cannot and will not wait for the Opinion of the Venice Commission, which Željko Komšić, in his capacity as Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, requested.

The DF Club has submitted an initiative to the parliamentary procedure to postpone the election of the judge until the Opinion of the Venice Commission, which meets on June 21 and 22, arrives.

However, HDZ, Trojka, and their satellites (the role of NES is still unclear, although Enver Išerić publicly stated that they will not support Vukoja) will try to complete one of the most dangerous procedures for the future of the country at the session on May 28.

The fact that Čović, who is not an inexperienced and naive politician, is confident in the Troika is shown by the fact that he announced the 'third entity' right before the vote for Vukoja; it was not a slip of the tongue or a hasty remark, the only question now is whether the 'third entity' is a red line for the Troika parties or not.

We will know soon, in less than 24 hours, where this ship is sailing? To the European Union as a whole and sovereign country, or will we go there according to the Cyprus model, where HDZ and Croatia will control the Federation of BiH. The first step in that plan is the appointment of Vukoja to the Constitutional Court of BiH.
