In May this year, Nenad Stevandić, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, left SDS. The party then issued a public statement in which they stated, among other things, that Stevandić is already changing party affiliation for the eighth time, which in itself says a lot about his character and work, writes the Patria News Agency.
Who is actually Dr. Nenad Stevandić, currently the main shooter for Milorad Dodik, tasked with spewing venom at the Alliance for Change and his former party SDS, from which he has profited handsomely for years.
According to some media reports, Stevandić was a member of the wartime staff of the "Autonomous Region of Krajina of the Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina," along with convicted war criminal Radoslav Brđanin, General Momir Talić, Stojan Župljanin, Rajko Kuzmanović (current President of RS)... and numerous others.
At that time, he was allegedly already commanding the Serbian Defense Forces (SOS), which rampaged through Banja Luka and Krajina, systematically persecuting Bosniak and Croat populations, looting, burning, blowing up, killing...
During 1991, Stevandić not only sent criminals for training in Serbia and communicated with Radovan Karadžić and Jovica Stanišić, but he also intensively armed paramilitary Serb formations, according to testimonies in The Hague.
-Stevandić organized the arming and was the commander, deciding who would receive how much weapons and ammunition; he was responsible for all possible transactions. Two to three times a week in Drvar, he supervised the distribution of weapons - claims one of the witnesses, adding that he often saw him in the company of Stojan Župljanin (Hague indictee and convict) and Simo Drljača and his group.
This information pertains to the end of June and the beginning of July 1991.
Stevandić was then, according to testimonies, accused of not only arming Serbs but also allegedly selling weapons to Croats and Bosniaks, taking huge sums of money.
Stevandić also participated in the "liberation" of Kotor Varoš from Bosniaks and Croats, which can be seen from the 3rd minute of the video we are publishing.
Protected Witness in War Crimes Trial
At the trial for crimes committed in Kotor Varoš, a protected witness for the BiH Prosecutor's Office testified how the bodies of those killed in June 1992 were removed from the city. Protected witness KV-6 stated that in 1992 he worked for a utility company, whose terrain remediation unit "removed people" who had perished in June 1992.
-In June, on the 25th or 26th, near the Health Center, special forces, red berets, carried out the killings of people. I arrived in a van in front of the gate... The bodies were loaded onto a truck driven by a certain Marko. They were covered with a tarpaulin,” said the witness.
He specified that there were between 25 and 30 bodies on the truck's trailer.
The bodies of the killed, he added, were transported under the escort of special forces to the mosque in Donja Varoš, where a loader arrived and a mass grave was dug, into which they were buried. Into that grave, he stated, another body was later buried.
KV-6 said that the terrain remediation unit continued to collect dead bodies later. He stated that they found two bodies in the Vrbanja river twice, and once five or six, among whom was an elderly woman.
“On one occasion, two bodies were found in the Vrbanja river,” said the witness.
Before these events, the witness said, he was arrested on June 11 and beaten by a soldier in a camouflage uniform, whom he later learned was named Ilija Kurušić.
“He hit me in the fleshy part of my thigh, he hit me with the butt of an automatic rifle,” said KV-6, writes Birn.
