How Dodik Deceives Voters in RS: Karadžić Sometimes an Enemy, Sometimes a Hero

Just a few years earlier, for the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, the greatest enemies of the Serbian people were the former general of the Republika Srpska army and Hague indictee for war crimes Ratko Mladić, as well as the first president of RS, who is also on trial for war crimes committed in BiH.

- The entire nation suffers, both in Republika Srpska and in Serbia, because some Mladić decided not to surrender and not to go to court, or Karadžić! And then he says he loves the Serbian people. The devil he loves – Dodik criticized Mladić and Karadžić, who were still fugitives.

However, in September this year, Dodik assessed that he could still profit from Karadžić's name in the General Elections in BiH, which were held a few weeks later, so he proposed that the student dormitory in Pale near Sarajevo should be named after Karadžić.

- As a people, we must be grateful to people who worked in the past..., and I advocate that this facility bear the name of the first president of Republika Srpska, Radovan Karadžić – Dodik stated during the opening of the dormitory, and the ribbon was cut by Ljiljana Zelen-Karadžić, the wife of the Hague indictee, NAP writes.

Analysts often warn that the current President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, uses the votes of RS citizens only to achieve personal interests.

In his public appearances, he makes promises to citizens that they want to hear, but very few of the promises Dodik has made in the last 15 years have been fulfilled.
