Kajević on a quest for new Guinness records

Edin Kajević, a taekwondo master, fourth-degree black belt, will attempt to set a new Guinness record on September 5 in Austria. Together with his mentor Muhamed Kahrimanović, also a Guinness record holder, Kajević prepared to improve his record in the category of breaking coconuts with elbows in one minute, which he achieved last year in 2014 on his home turf in Visoko, and in 2015 the popular Kaja broke the world record in breaking full cans. The record, which stood at 41 broken cans per minute, Kajević broke by smashing 62 cans.

- In less than a year, this is already my third performance. This time I have to be better than myself, i.e., surpass my personal record, when I broke 40 coconuts with my elbows in one minute and thus broke the previous record of 21 broken coconuts. This time I will have to break at least 41 coconuts in a minute. I sincerely hope that I will succeed in achieving this feat, this time on an away ground - said Kajević, founder and coach of TK Bosna (Visoko).
