(Patria) - Goran Kurtinović, a member of the Management Board of the Association of Employers in Hospitality and Tourism of RS, told RTRS that the price of coffee has increased.
Kurtinović announces that the price of this beverage in Banja Luka will reach three to three and a half marks.
According to him, some catering facilities have already raised prices, and some will do so in the coming period.
Caterers justify the price increase by raising wages, which they want to use to retain workers.
Kurtinović states that caterers want to prevent workers from going to seasonal jobs, adding that coffee is the best-selling product in cafes and that it is the easiest way to generate money for wage increases.
Caterers are aware that price increases could lead to a decrease in the number of guests, but they emphasize that this is their only way to survive.
