(Patria) - The U17 handball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina played a draw against Israel in the 3rd round of qualifications (24:24) and thus missed out on qualifying for the Euro.
In the last round, our team drew with Israel, and due to a better overall goal difference, the Israelis secured 2nd place in the group and advanced to the Euro. BiH finished the group stage with a win against Luxembourg, a loss to Poland, and a draw with Israel.
However, the BiH team deserves praise because this was the first time the U17 selection appeared in qualifications since 2016.
Based on this result, the BiH U17 team will participate in the EHF Championship next summer.
