U-17 national team of BiH suffers heavy defeat against Germany

The U-17 football national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina suffered a heavy defeat in the first match of the European Under-17 Championship in Croatia, Patria reports. 

Our selection was defeated 5:0 by the favored Germany.

Germany took the lead already in the 2nd minute through Maij, and Keitel doubled the advantage in the 16th minute.

At the start of the second half, the best player of the match, Arp, stepped onto the scene, scoring three goals in just 12 minutes for the final 5:0.

Germany was considered the absolute favorite even before the match, so the players of Sakib Malkočević face matches against Serbia and Ireland in which they will seek points for a place in the quarterfinals.
