The Bosnia and Herzegovina U-17 women's national team will participate in the UEFA Development Tournament from the 25th to the 28th. The first match was played today at the Training Center in Zenica against Montenegro, where our girls achieved a 2:1 victory, reports the Patria News Agency correspondent.
- Our girls played well, they followed everything we agreed upon. I still think our girls are favorites in this tournament, but we must not underestimate the other selections either - said coach Ilija Lucić.
Our cadets started the match decisively and took the lead in the sixth minute with a goal by Lamija Rovčanin. A counter-attack by the Montenegrin cadets in the 38th minute resulted in a goal scored by Tamara Tripković. In the second half, the BiH cadets dominated, which they confirmed with a goal in the 55th minute, scored by Dejana Ćosić.
- I have been playing for the national team for a long time, and I think we have improved a lot compared to previous tournaments - concluded Amina Šapčanin.
