BiH Cadets Best at Youth Olympics in Georgia: Defeated Great Spain in the Final

The cadet basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated the favored Spain 89:79 in the final of the Youth Olympic Games (EYOF) today, so the basketball players return to Sarajevo with a gold medal, reports the Patria news agency.

In the first match in Tbilisi, Georgia, the players of coach Josip Pandža defeated Latvia 87:61. After this, BiH was better than the host Georgia (81:74). The Bosnian Dragons continued their winning streak, defeating Turkey in the third round and great Germany in the semifinals to reach the final match against Spain, which had no solution for the golden basketball players of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

For BiH at the Youth Olympic Games (EYOF), the following players participated: Džanan Musa, Njegoš Sikiraš, Sani Čampara, Lazar Mutić, Emir Čerkezović, Vedran Mirković, Aljoša Janković, Timur Ovčina, Srđan Kočić, Adi Alikadić, Nikola Đaković, and Amar Barukčija, reports NAP.
