When Slovenia is silent about genocide, Dodik speaks without shame

(Patria) - It hasn't been long since the Museum of Contemporary History in Ljubljana, under the political influence of the Slovenian left, refused to open its doors to an exhibition about the genocide in Srebrenica, Milorad Dodik, president of the RS entity and a fugitive on the BiH Court's warrant, is today threatening Slovenia with "reciprocal measures" due to possible sanctions.

At first glance, paradoxical. On a deeper level, entirely expected. Because when a European country allows the truth about genocide to be challenged under the guise of "disagreements" without a voice of resistance, it not only relativizes the crime but also feeds precisely those political structures that enabled it and continue to deny it publicly.

That is why Dodik today allows himself to publicly ask Slovenia: "Who are you to impose sanctions on me?", as if that very Slovenia is not part of Europe, whose values include truth, justice, and accountability for genocide.

And at the same time, that same Slovenia, through institutions controlled by the Levica party, avoids taking a clear stance on the legacy of Srebrenica. A reward for this has also arrived.

Let us recall that the Key to the City of Sarajevo was presented to Tanja Fajon, a politician who never advocated for sanctions against Dodik, and who brought into her office a person who defended Radovan Karadžić before the Hague Tribunal.

Ultimately, while one country remains silent on historical humiliation, Dodik has become emboldened to threaten.

This is not just a political paradox; it is a defeat of truth. Slovenia's deliberation regarding sanctions against Dodik has led to the strengthening of the RS president himself, and we have seen countless times that he never speaks without reason. Dodik knows how deeply the "Serbian world" is rooted in Ljubljana, so the story is not meaningless at all.
