SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Cabinet of the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, told Antena M today that they have much more important things to do and that the letter from the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, is not among their priorities, and that at this stage it does not deserve any comment, with the remark that an answer in this regard should be sought in Sarajevo.
Dodik sent a letter to Đukanović regarding his confirmation of participation in the upcoming commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica, in which he informs him that the invitation extended by the BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović did not pass the internal procedure.
In the letter, Dodik also accused Đukanović of interfering in the internal affairs of BiH.
Antena M was informed by diplomatic sources in Sarajevo that Džaferović's invitation to Đukanović was sent following the same procedure as to other high-ranking guests, and that, like him, the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, EP President David Sassoli, Slovenian President Borut Pahor, and others have confirmed their participation.
The same sources claim that Dodik did not address them with a similar letter.
Šefik Džaferović sent the letter with his signature, as a member of the BiH Presidency, which means that in that case, the consent of the Presidency is not required, which does not send invitations as a body, which is in accordance with the Dayton Agreement.
