The International Festival of High School Dramatic Arts, Juventafest, will open on September 12 at the National Theatre at 7:30 PM, reports the BH News Agency Patria.
This already respectable festival will be opened by the musical "ROMEO AND JULIET," performed by high school students from Maribor Gymnasium.
The audience will enjoy an exceptional performance that could be compared to professional theatre productions.
Selected by curator Asja Krsmanović, this year's festival will feature high school drama groups from Croatia, Slovenia, Sweden, Serbia, Montenegro, and Macedonia.
The festival will host over 100 participants, who will stay in Sarajevo for the duration of the event. Participants will have the opportunity to improve their skills in workshops (puppet, mask, movement, and music).
The performances will be held at the National Theatre, the International Centre for Children and Youth Novo Sarajevo, and the Academy of Performing Arts.
