After captain Mirza Teletović withdrew, Jusuf Nurkić did the same today.
- Due to the rehabilitation process after the injury in the past NBA season this year, unfortunately, I will not be able to play in the pre-qualifiers for the World Championship. The medical team of my club estimates that the injury is in such a condition that it requires a cautious approach and a special work program, so that I can be ready for the new season in a few months. I have always worn the BiH jersey with great pleasure and I believe I will wear it for many years to come. Unfortunately, this time I was prevented by an injury. I wish the national team all the best in the upcoming matches – Nurkić wrote on his Facebook profile.
