On this day in Makarska, 2003, at the age of 43, Sabahudin Dino Bilalović suddenly passed away. This exceptional athlete, a native of Trebinje, was a member of the KK Bosna team, the European club champion.
Jusuf Nurkić, a basketball player for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team and the Denver Nuggets, shared a touching memory on his FB page.
- 13 years ago, our legend left us. He was the top scorer of the 1993 European Championship, and Bosnia and Herzegovina was the eighth-best team in Europe. Dino, thank you for everything you did for our homeland. Whenever we step onto the court, we should seek inspiration in you and your deeds. May you rest in eternal peace!
