Juniors to perform in the Champions League for the first time: Magoda supported the development of FK Sarajevo Academy

(Patria) - FK Sarajevo juniors, as champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in their selection, have found themselves on the list of clubs that will play in the UEFA Youth Champions League, where they will represent our country for the first time.



Before leaving for this most elite European competition, the Minister of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton, Kenan Magoda, visited the young players at the Butmir Training Center. On this occasion, sports director Senajid Ibričić and FK Sarajevo coach Dženan Uščuplić presented Minister Magoda with a special token of appreciation for the support provided by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of KS in the development of the club, as well as for this important event.

"The greatest support from the Ministry of Culture and Sports of KS to FK Sarajevo was this year. Therefore, a big thank you to the relevant ministry and Minister Kenan Magoda, who recognized our commitment to creating a better environment and content for all athletes and fans with the aim of achieving the best possible results," stated FK Sarajevo during the presentation of the token of appreciation to Minister Magoda.

Minister Magoda wished the juniors luck on their way to Poland, where on October 4th they will make their debut appearance in the Champions League match against Ukraine's Rukh from Lviv.

"We know that the development and improvement of the FK Sarajevo Academy is one of the club's primary goals, which the Ministry of Culture and Sports of KS also strongly supports. We have made the biggest leap so far in terms of financing FK Sarajevo and we will be constant participants in the club's development. For the first time in the history of the Premier Youth League of BiH, you have won a double crown, and you have deservedly qualified for the Champions League, for which I congratulate you and wish you the best of luck," said Minister Magoda during his visit to FK Sarajevo in Butmir.
