Hero of Rome: Playful Džeko scores a hat-trick

Edin Džeko is once again the hero of Roma in the Champions League, as the captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team this time scored a hat-trick in a 5:0 victory over Viktoria Plzen.

After the match, he said he enjoys playing against the Czech champions.

“I am always inspired against Viktoria; while I played for Teplice I scored a lot, I think this is my first hat-trick in the Champions League,” said the popular Diamond.

“Going into quarantine helped us a lot, we said it couldn't go on like that anymore, I think we are still not at our maximum despite three consecutive wins, we have confidence, but we need to give more.”

He was surprised when he learned that Real had lost 1:0 to CSKA.

“Real's defeat? They lost? In the Champions League all matches are difficult, we still have four matches to play and certainly the two matches against CSKA will be crucial,” said the Roma striker.
