The Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina presented the Plan 10 for next year's General Elections about ten days ago, in which it listed the things it intends to do if citizens give it their trust in the elections, writes the Patria agency.
SDP Commissioner for Canton 10 Jugoslav Brdar, in an interview for the Patria agency, says that the SDP has great chances in the upcoming elections given the catastrophic state in which society currently finds itself.
- I come from Livno, that is, the canton, which records perhaps the largest exodus of people from the country. Following most of our media, one gets the conclusion that people are exclusively burdened by national topics, but when you get among the people and hear their real problems, you realize that is not quite the case – says Brdar.
This retired general of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina adds that people, more than twenty years after the war, are fed up with stories about endangerment, because regardless of national affiliation, every inhabitant of this country has the same problems.
- From the moment I was appointed SDP commissioner in our canton, I visited many residents and saw for myself what problems they are facing. When you sit down with people, only then do you realize that Croats, Bosniaks, and Serbs have the same problem. Everyone cares about living normally from their work – emphasizes Brdar.
Brdar adds that in the Livno area, a polarization has occurred between those close to the ruling parties who can expect jobs in public companies and those who have only one option, and that is to leave the country.
- Croats who are not in the HDZ even have some way out, because with a Croatian passport they can go abroad, while Bosniaks and Serbs do not even have that option.
The SDP commissioner points out that he decided to enter politics to try to help improve the bad situation in the country, so that Bosnia and Herzegovina does not remain just a country where people come for annual vacations.
- This is a rich country with room for all people and for no one to feel cramped. Only a little good will is needed for all of us to be better – emphasized Jugoslav Brdar.
