(Patria) - The organizing committee decided at a telephone session last night to postpone the planned cultural and entertainment program entirely during the jubilee 50th International Agricultural and Food Industry Fair - Plum Fair.
The decision was made following the tragic event that occurred in Gradačac on 11.8.2023, when three people were killed and three injured.
"Considering the situation that has befallen us all and plunged our city and the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina into grief, the Organizing Committee has decided to postpone the cultural and entertainment program in its entirety and to stand with the families of the victims. We believe that this will keep us in pain for a long time, and it remains for all of us to do our utmost to ensure that such evil never happens again.
We will carry out other fair activities within the planned deadlines. We will inform you in a timely manner about the new dates for the implementation of the planned cultural and musical content," said Ensar Mešanović, head of the tourist office of the Gradačac tourist board, which is the organizer of this fair event.
The jubilee 50th International Agricultural and Food Industry Fair - Plum Fair in Gradačac will be held from 23 to 26 August 2023. The fair will feature a series of expert lectures, collective exhibitions, product presentations from the fields of agriculture and the food industry, small businesses, and handicrafts.
