Jovan Divjak, executive director of the Association "Education Builds BiH" and retired general of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited Maglaj today, a town still recovering from last year's floods, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
On this occasion, Divjak also visited the renovated Maglaj Public Library and donated more than 200 books of various titles. He familiarized himself with the library's current activities with the staff, became a member, and received a membership card.
In addition to this visit, Divjak visited an elementary school and the "Edhem Mulabdić" high school, where one top student from each school became a scholarship recipient of the Association for the 2015/2016 academic year. Divjak spoke with students at both schools, urging them to stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina and build their future there, and also informed them about the work of the Association.
