The cadet basketball team of BiH is preparing for the World Cup in Spain, which begins on June 23, and before that, on June 11 in Sarajevo and June 12 in Vitez, the U-17 team will test their strength against the cadets of Spain, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
Coach Josip Pandža has selected the players who will represent BiH at the World Cup, and we are in a group with France, the Dominican Republic, and South Korea.
Pandža is taking the following squad to Spain: Džanan Musa - Cedevita Zagreb, Lazar Mutić - Baloncesto Torrelodones Spain, Sani Čampara - Spars Sarajevo, Srđan Kočić - Spars Sarajevo, Semin Karić - Spars Sarajevo, Vedran Mirković - Koš Sarajevo, Amar Barukčija - Koš Sarajevo, Emir Bačvić - Koš Sarajevo, Stefan Radosavljević - Igokea Aleksandrovac, Aljoša Janković - Igokea Aleksandrovac, Emir Čerkezović - Sloboda Tuzla, Drago Cvitanović - Brotnjo Čitluk, Miladin Vlačić - Budučnost Bijeljina, Adi Alikadić - Radnički Goražde, Semin Burko - Čelik Zenica, and Denis Milinović - Busovača.
The preparation plan for the U-17 team will be presented on Wednesday, May 18, at the Evropa hotel in Sarajevo at a press conference where coach Pandža, captain Musa, players Čampara and Mutić, KS BiH Secretary General Dubravko Barbarić, and KS Board President Aleksandar Fulurija will address the attendees.
The new sponsor of KS BiH, Securitas BH d.o.o., will also be presented, with director Mirsad Ćatić speaking on behalf of the company.
We remind you that the cadets won gold at the European Championship in August 2015, and Musa was named MVP of the European Championship.
