Another miracle: Teenager pulled from rubble after five days

The gathered population applauded and cheered the rescuers who pulled a teenager from the rubble five days after the terrible earthquake, reports the Patria News Agency.

According to NBC, rescue teams dug through the rubble for six hours to pull out the 15-year-old. They managed to pull him out through a small hole; he was dusty but conscious and able to talk.

The boy was discovered by Nepali rescuers who were working with a group of rescuers from USAID. The leader of the American team, Andrew Olvera, said the boy was not buried deeply, "but he was squeezed like a pancake between collapsed floors."

As a reminder, yesterday a 27-year-old man was rescued after spending 82 hours in the rubble, and before that, a baby who was buried for 22 hours was rescued.
