(Patria) - Two minors, who were deprived of their liberty by the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton due to false reports of explosive devices placed in schools, were handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday evening.
"They are in custody, and during the day a prosecutorial decision will be made on further measures against the suspects. At the same time, we are awaiting the court's decision regarding the first minor for whom detention has been proposed," stated the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office.
For days now, primary and secondary schools have been receiving reports of explosive devices being placed, and one minor alone sent 49 such reports in 11 days. This involves a 16-year-old high school student.
Due to constant K9 inspections and evacuations, significant resources have been spent, and the regular conduct of the educational process has been disrupted. Some schools have switched to online classes.
